UEPH at Fort Eustis is a three story
housing facility consisting of two main
buildings joined by a commons
building. MSTB Cx Group is performing
the HVAC & Controls, Fire Alarm, Fire
Protection, Mass Communication, Lighting,
Domestic Hot Water, Air Barrier and
Plumbing Systems Commissioning in pursuit
of a LEED Silver Certification. With
over 100,000 square feet of conditioned
space, UEPH is the largest LEED Certified
Project on Fort Eustis to date.

Jefferson Lab is expanding its Particle
Accelerator and constructing a new
experimental hall and supporting facilities
at the U.S. Department of Energy’s
Thomas Jefferson National Accelerator
Facility. This project is a $310
million upgrade project at Jefferson Lab
that will provide an international
community of physicists with a cutting-edge
facility for studying the basic building
blocks of the visible universe.
MSTB Cx Group has been chosen to perform
the whole building commissioning for this
project which includes 20,000 square feet
of new facilities that will include Hall D,
an 8,000-square-foot facility that will be
Jefferson Lab’s fourth experimental
hall; a 250-foot extension of Jefferson
Lab’s underground accelerator tunnel;
and new roads and utilities to support the
new experimental hall.
Jefferson Lab is one of 17 Department of
Energy national laboratories. It is managed
and operated by Jefferson Science
Associates, LLC for the DOE Office of
Science.

Fort Pickett RTI project consists of eight
standalone buildings; three billeting
buildings; one officer candidate school,
one regimental administration building, one
dining facility, one auditorium, and one
educational building. MSTB Cx Group is
performing the HVAC & Controls,
Electrical, Lighting and Domestic Hot Water
Systems Commissioning.
The first-phase construction includes an
8,000-square-foot regimental headquarters
building, a 61,500-square-foot education
building with administrative space for the
institute's three training battalions,
classrooms, a library, learning center,
maintenance classroom, medical aid station,
supply area and fitness center, a
9,700-square-foot Officer Candidate School
building with offices, administrative work
space, conference room, classrooms and
counseling areas; and a 250-seat,
4,900-square-foot auditorium.

DeCA at Fort Lee is a 75,000 square foot
addition to DeCA’s headquarters
building to house the additional 250 DeCA
employees who will relocate to the area.
